Here’s a review from one of our customers following a holiday she had in Sanary sur Mer. We thought it could be useful for anyone else who’s considering visiting this lovely part of Provence…

Good morning Sue, just a short note to say we enjoyed a week in Sanary and the surrounding area from 5 Sep with 2 friends who flew in to Toulon. I can see why you have a flat in the area. We had amazing weather, superb comfort at the hotel complete with excellent swimming pool and just minutes from the bay the other side to Sanary. The  10 min walk into town being good to help walk off the extra kilos from such excellent meals at local restaurants. In particular Le Baroudeur, Chez Bernard on the next street to where we stayed at the Hotel Synaya, and on the Saturday night a lively pizza in town at Restaurant L’Endroit. We also had a delicious fish lunch at a tiny place right beside the water just 2 mins from the hotel.
We visited various parts of the region, including Bandol and a rather busy la Ciotat, altogether had a thoroughly good relaxing holiday then came back with an overnight stop in Le Puy En Velay with the various chapels and monuments and Cathedral and lots of steps to climb.
Our overnight stop en route had been Avignon, again busy but we found a restaurant in a back street which suited us well. Thank you for the postcard with my order which instigated this holiday, we may well visit again.
